I've also seen a couple of similar posts which suggest that this is problem might be a bug with the current version of Android Studio / the Emulator. I have made sure that AMD's SVM is enabled in BIOS. Not sure what else to include, I'm around to answer questions though. The log says "ERROR:/buildbot/src/android/emu-3.0-release/external/qemu/fpu/softfloat.c:486:round_canonical: code should not be reached" and refers to exit code 3. With these settings, it will at least launch (with other settings, it crashes before anything shows up) but crashes after a few seconds with the error "qemu-system-armel.exe has stopped working" (I've also gotten "qemu-system-aarch64.exe has stopped working"). I have the Graphics Emulation set to Software. The device I'm trying to emulate is a Nexus S (very low resolution, also I've tried it with the default low RAM, and with 1024mb RAM because I heard that might help too, it didn't). I've been using the ARM image EABI v7a (also tested arm64 but don't know the difference between them). Virtualization is enabled on the PC.I am using Windows 8.1, 圆4, 14gb RAM, with an AMD processor (A8 6500 with Radeon, if that helps). I don't recall if I have run the Windows Phone 8 VM. I have had at least one new Windows 7 VM successfully running on this PC before with no problem. Windows Phone emulator not starting (couldn`t setup the UDP port) I have also tried the suggestion here, to no avail, which seemed to describe a similar problem with Windows 8 Phone emulation: Thinking this was a UDP problem, I made the VS Emulator open in the windows firewall.
I click "Close program" on this dialog and the VM closes (not Visual Studio Emulator for Android). Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. A close box appears and when I click it I get the message "Xde.exe has stopped working. After a few moments the application gives another message "The emulator is unable to connect to the device operating system: Can't set When I start a VM (any of three that I have tried) I get the message the tablet VM comes up and says "OS is starting". I recently installed the Visual Studio Emulator for Android to use with Android Studio.
